ur right I think it’s a 2000 knuckle. I’m positive they can from a non-HD truck. That first link you sent is for 1/2tons I believe. But I can definitely check out the YouTube video
I seems FullSizeChevy and Vortec454 are gone. I don’t have the details anymore around doing the hub swap. I have the 2002 no-HD front hubs but now no instructions. Anyone know where to find them?
I’m having trouble finding the replacement upper and lower steering column cover. Anyone know where to get them or have ideas on different options? Maybe the gmt600 covers fit?
On my 96k3500 with the Vortec 454 is has a 1 wire coolant temp sensor on the driver and passenger side of the engine. Where done the passenger side sensor connect to? There have been a few owners of my truck and it seems that last owner did reconnect the passenger side sensor and cut the wire...
I’m needing to replace the 1wire temp sender on my 96 7.4l. The sender is a $25-$35 part. But a 2wire temp sensor is a $6 part. Is there a way to make that work?

****. My manifold blew out. It has a hole in it. I’m currently looking for a replacement. Also, I’m running a Whipple, so I’m trying to find something more sturdy than the plastic and rubber option.

How’s it going so far? It looks like that’s the rubber gasket that’s inlayed to a plastic housing? Not much different than the felpro

I always just kept my in the loop until it was winter. Mostly because the blend door flaps have a rubberized end that’s broken on pretty much every truck at this point. So I get a colder AC when the heater core is bypassed and looped

Following as I’m going through the process of installing new heads and I didn’t know about this since there doesn’t seem like there much to do with the rocker stud/nut[emoji2373]

Looking for the right part on summitracing.com for the lower manifold gasket that is steal and rubber coated. The previous one was plastic/composite with the rubber ring material inside blew out. I need one that can handle the boost of a blower.

Cummins is gonna make way more power with way less risk of breaking, get better fuel mileage, and if something does break, replacement parts are cheaper and more available.

Do a 12v or 24v Cummins swap and save yourself the headache. Wishing I had done that at this point rather than going with a blower. That being said, I have a freshly rebuilt Whipple for sale.

I was fighting this for years. Tried everything. Turned out to be a blow intake manifold gasket. It was the lower one. So my thought is that the motor is sucking in air through there and the sensors in your intake aren’t aware so the engine is running to lean.
