    What would be the best way to block off the return? Also, I assume that I can't read anything or really do the calibration without an ALDL scanner?

    No I'm not sure what I got the correct wire but i did notice a difference with it plugged in vs unplugged. When I plugged it back in it was about 20* advanced. How would I get more pressure? I know about the mod of the adjustable regulator but I haven't done it.

    In checking the fuel pressure, it seems that it starts right at 10psi if I'm reading the gauge right. Also, I never got the code 42. It does seem to be running a lot better through right now. Once I plugged the est wire back in, it idles pretty high.

    it wasn't very far off but it did help to unplug that wire. it was idling very high and now its a lot smoother but still has trouble when i hit the gas.

    I take that back. It's been a couple weeks since I messed with it but I did drain it and put fresh gas in but I didn't drain it a second time.

    I didn't drain it but I believe it has run through already as there was very little in the tank and I put new fuel in.

    My bad I changed the fuel filter not the pump. What is the suction sock? Not sure what the fuel pressure is I left the stock regulator in. I did set the timing to 0 but I don't know what the eat wire is.

    I did check the spark plugs, cap and rotor and everything seemed fine. I can get it to about 45 but I haven't taken it on a road that allows me to go any faster yet.
