Well, this truck confuses me further. The amount of fluid I initially took out when I dropped the pan the first time was considerably more than what I took out this time, even with the correct level in it. Alright, this is going to be an absolutely silly, stupid questions BUT when checking fluid level truck should be on, idling, and in Neutral/park correct? Well this is a big bummer. Finally got my steering knuckle back on and everything buttoned up. Pulled halfway out but partially ran over a box so I went to throw it in reverse so I could grab the box to discover I have a very weak reverse. Tackled my oil pan gasket as well as removing the leaky oil cooler lines and swapping out the oil filter adapter to the Melling MFA350 adapter. So far no leaks on that. That was a thought I had. I pulled the calipers off and had my wife push the pedal and then put some pressure on the brake pad with my hands to see if they retracted and both calipers were functioning properly. Hey all, so I've been trying to fix an extremely soft brake pedal issue. I've bled all my brakes, just replaced my rear drums and shoes as they were extremely worn and figured that would solve the issue. It did not. I'm at a loss of what could be causing the issue. Got the truck out for its first drive today after bringing it home. Runs and drives pretty well. Steering is pretty loose and it has absolutely no brakes. Got around to getting some pictures of the truck. I can get my hand behind the dent in the bed so hopefully that will be easy to push out, that's the only real major body damage to the truck Interior is a little rough but hopefully a good deep cleaning will straighten most of it out.
