    for the last 5years it has frequently been hard to find conventional 10w-30 in eastern IL. Then here in the last couple months it seems to be trickling back in. Some reason 5w-30 was always easy to find.

    loosen the two lower core support frame bolts. Go to the driver side and bump your hip into the fender.

    I had heat issues for a while with my gen 6 454. I purchased my pump from Summit for the correct application. Summit had it listed wrong. It flowed the wrong direction.

    It does have ABS. But I don't believe on a obd1/tbi the ABS knows the tire size. I think it just detects the difference in speed tire to tire and sudden decel.

    So that did not work. It did get much closer. i took the vssb to its highest setting. Its still about 7 percent off.

    I think what I am going to do is add 24 percent to the gear in the calculation for the vssb. I took a closer look at the speedometer vs GPS and it appears to be off by 24 percent.

    Obviously this would mount in a 95 dash. I currently have a 5000 rpm tach. Would the tach and speedometer be compatible with a 95 since it has a vssb rather than using the computer to run it in 96 and later?

    I don't recall if the speedometer was inaccurate before I swapped the 4l60 for the 4l80. Does the vss from a 95 4l60 give the same type/speed signal as a 96 4l80? Such as number of pulses per mile? I do know the vss looked different from one trans to the other.
