    I scored these at the jy today. There's no markings or numbers on them. I accidentally broke off the flange on the bottom of one of them thinking it was a mangled gasket. Is there any way to make it still work. I've only had jba headers and the flanges to the y pipe were really well built so...

    Well I paid less than 20 bucks new for the head unit so I doubt it's pushing anywhere near 20. Lol. Maybe I'll just get a better head unit instead. I still have factory speakers in the rear.

    Wheels stick out to far for PA.

    My wheels stick out past my fenders only about an inch. I dont have flares on it., and I'm running spacers in the rear. Ive never been pulled over for it and my truck passes inspection with no issue.

    I had intermittent spark at 2. Had code p300. I was replacing the cap but the screw holes got stripped on the distributor so I had to replace it too. Changed the plug in cyl 2. Runs just fine now

    My 96 k1500 5.0 is idling rough, and popping out of the exhaust. It starts fine, seems to rev ok. It's got a new coil and ignition module. I checked the rotor it turns fine no jumping or skipping. The only thing I haven't done is check where the rotor is pointing at TDC. Truck has 256k mi so i...

    I had actually planned to lower it a little more. I had 2 inch shackles on the rear already. Ive had drop hangers and a set of 2 inch coils sitting in my basement the last few years.

    Cat Delete

    I had to hollow out my cat due to it being so clogged the truck almost stranded me on the highway. I just have a mangnaflow rumble muffler and a turndown after it. I hate the way it sounds. I have a magnaflow cat and a borla cutback I found at the JY waiting to go on.

    Thanks for the tips, I bought a mother's powercone and mag polish. It seems to be working, gets some of it off. Looks like something acid based is my next step. If I can't find that Napa stuff. They're far and few between where i live

    I used a magnaflow universal cat on one of my trucks. Worked just fine, going to put one on my other truck as well.

    I forgot to mention another option. Keep an eye out at your local pick n pull. I got a borla cat back from mine last week for 20 bucks. I also found on another truck a set of Hedman shorties I almost got too but they were for a tbi motor.

    Magnaflow, dynomax,Gibson are all good brands. You can also just get a muffler and put a turndown on it.
