    Try doing a security system reset. Key 'on' for ten minutes then off for like two seconds then on for ten minutes....do it three times and see if it runs.

    51036 should be the ticket. Metric threads on the oil filter adapter on the 5.7.

Paid the guy $800 and drug it home. So far I'm in it for about $500 including getting the heads decked and it should...

    90‰*of the time electrical gremlins are caused by bad grounds. Start there. Re-do the ground from your amp to the chassis first, then check battery to chassis and chassis to engine.

    EGR is plumbed into the drivers side header, at least on my 2000, 92 it might be different. But thats what would make you 'emissions legal' or not.

    So I did the bypass and my security light is still on. Any help? Originally the security light has been on intermittently and twice in three days my truck would not start without doing the relearn procedure, so I did the bypass as outlined.

    Fuel pressure regulator I bet. Its bleeding off line pressure too fast after shutdown. Also try cycling the key four or five times just to let the fuel pump run. So turn the key on until you hear the fuel pump turn off and do it again like 5 times then try and start it.

    Never seen any for our trucks, why do you want them so bad? They look like they would restrict engine bay access so much that they would make routine maintenance nearly impossible.

    All it takes is one pothole and you trash a tire that looks perfectly good. Have ypu had an alignment yet? Did you look at a-arm bushimgs? Both can cause sketchy steering.

    The weird shake/oscillation could be a bad tire or a tire thats not balanced properly. I have the same issue with my summer tire/wheel combo but not my winters.

    Did you put a new seal on the transmission output shaft between the tranny and the transfer case? Because that was likely the onpy problem. Seen it literally a thousand times.

    I like my airbags vs overload springs. The ride with overloads is too harsh, airbags you just let the air out when the load is off and it rides like factory again. Installation took me about an hour and a half in the driveway if I remember.

    No it doesnt lift the rear empty, but with bags it's best to keep 2-5 psi in them even when you aren't loaded. The airbag replaces your bumpstop.

    How does the belt tensioner look? If there is play in the pivot bearing they can eat belts too.

    I've seen it with the 400's chewing the outer edge of the belt because the power steering pulley wasn't pressed on all the way, maybe check that and make sure that all of the pullies are aligned properly.

    I would look at the starter relay first.

    For the auto theres a 10 or 11mm plug on one side of the transmission, you remove it while the car is running and if fluid oozes out the level is ok. I would really need to see it to be any more help, I havent checked one in years. The manual has a check plug facing the firewall I think? Check...
