Currently .050" with ACdelco 41-902 . Have any recommendations? I have torque management 100% removed. I have all engine power I command through the rpm range. It mess with your power enrichment sometimes, so... I just left it off. I've read the trans life will suffer. Probably due to the...

I have a 6AL in my truck. Burns through plugs every 30kmi, but it runs nice. 0411 runs the transmission just fine. I have changed lots of my shift points (both normal and "performance" mode) and firmed up my pressures just a smidge. IMO, you might want to get a beefier torque converter clutch...

Ya know, now that you've got a house... after your first few months in it we really need to troubleshoot that issue fully. Something isn't right at all.

I mean, I'm not Brody, but in my opinion information like what you dished out tells us what is possible... and I don't really see an issue with posting some build info in an info thread. Keeps the thread alive and near the top, more folks see it, more folks post to it.

Feel free to poke my brain about 0411 stuff. I used to have a standard PM I liked to send guys once they swapped a 0411. Lextech is the way to go for the package, but there are some things I like to personally point out after the fact. In any case, let us know how that valve train stacks up...

So how's fuel pressure? I still recommend blocking the EGR with something to verify its not that (maybe ECU issue). Did you check for vacuum leaks with the IAC unplugged? What are you using to verify IAC position is correct? Little hose behind intake for fuel pressure regulator in good...

Have you tried checking for vacuum leaks? How's your fuel pressure? What's engine vacuum at when at idle? Have you tried blocking off the EGR? Have you tried checking the IAC counts and adjusting the idle stop screw so it's around 40-50?

If he was he'd probably swap the whole dizzy out for a better one instead of just changing the cap/rotor... he didn't even do the dizzy gear. I'm interested in his header install and whenever he decides, I hope, to put a cam in it. I'm guessing he put injectors in just to make content since he...

I've always wanted a visor... especially on my Chevy LUV I had. One of these days, when I get tired of my truck, the next one is getting a visor.

Did you pop a fuse? Check for voltage at the o2 plugs. How does your maf read? If you're using dash command, what are your fuel trims? What are your knock counts? Do you have any misfires on any cylinders? You have codes for the knock sensors and the o2 sensors, so, what's common between them...

Yeah, from what I read before you have to get an aftermarket cam/sprocket set for a carb'd motor (Mericruiser, or etc) and that will set your cam back to "0". Progear has a set (S394F) That gives you crank +/- 4* adjustments. Or any of these sets I think...

I'd check for a continuity issue, or maybe a broken wire. How's the grounds look on the thermostat? What about the ground from the engine to the frame, is it in good shape? You might want to try to just check continuity on your ignition module and coil connectors to the ECU/ignition module...

Possibly. Your dizzy cap is going all the way against the intake? You can take the cap off, turn the engine to about 10-15° ATDC, then turn it backwards and note what degree the dizzy rotor starts to move again. If it's more than 7° I'd throw a chain in it. You can also pull your crank sensor...

Use a OBDlink mx, and torque pro or Dash command... reputable apps that have a good history and good support. Because the speedo is able to be calibrated separately. Voltage at the OBD 2 port and at the ECU are two separate readings... and the gauge needle can be moved a smidge here and...

From what I can tell, the only good way to avoid some of the heat would be to insulate the air box and tubing as much as possible. But we have a giant aluminum intake that needs to get cooled off. But anything you can do to keep the inlet charge cool (I mean, the sensor IS in the plastic...

454 Vortec P0300 Multiple cylinder misfire code. Troubleshooting and solution.

You probably need the GM/Opel plug-in. I think I had to use the plugin for new PIDs when I swapped computers.

454 Vortec P0300 Multiple cylinder misfire code. Troubleshooting and solution.

I use it separately. Because I could not get the data from the crank offset to display in torque pro. So I used dash command just to check that and torque pro to display misfires (simpler).

454 Vortec P0300 Multiple cylinder misfire code. Troubleshooting and solution.

I'll be honest, it didn't feel much tighter than before... I didn't put a dial mic on it. I just compared the teeth side by side, verified the rotor mount was square to the body, and stabbed it in. However, the summit dizzy soon filled with aluminum oxide after 2yrs and I had to vacuum it out...
