    I replaced my old poppet valve spider injectors with the Standard Motor Product MPFI. I could not find a Delphi set. The SMP one installed easily and works well for me. I made sure to order the gasket set, bracket and injectors.

    For a $500 difference, I would go for the 383 if it were my money and truck. Keep the same throttle body and transmission. If they work as-is, awesome. if they don't, cross that bridge when you come to it.

    Check and recheck your vacuum line for cracks/leaks from the MAP the to throttle body. I like to use zip ties on mine just to be sure. Also re-check the vacuum lines elsewhere since the Code 34 popped up after you changed the EGR diaphram. As GoToGuy said, check out the 1994 Emission link...

    What brand batteries are the longest lasting.

    I concur with the Odyssey batteries. I had one in my Grand National for 8 years with no issues. It was getting a little slow to crank so replaced it this year with another Odyssey battery. Pricey, but works out since they tend to last much longer.

    I bought the $5 entry at Compnine.com (gave me 5 vehicles to run) last summer. I did this to get the codes for my 97. Much like you @df2x4, it came back with more robust info with 60 codes of RPOs, their descriptions, and how many vehicles had those options that year. Not sure why...
