    Small woofer

I have Alpine Type S all around my truck, and I can say that even those are pretty good, I'm confident that the Type R (Next product line up the scale from mine) would be a great choice.

    Small woofer

Something like this might work. It fits inside of a 5-9/16" hole and only needs .18-.75 cubic ft of box volume. https://www.crutchfield.com/p_20648CT672/Kicker-48CWRT672.html?tp=111

    Small woofer

I've never done it with your specific application but whenever I have weird size/shape speakers like that I just replace them with the closest standard round speaker. Like my 6x4s I just put in regular round 4s and they sound wayyyyy better. Are you sure it's 4x6? That seems small for a sub...

I want to spend money on suspension but no idea what to do

It is, the Rough Country is 5", but there is also a company called Tuff country that makes a 4" lift, I don't know if it is exactly 4" though.

I want to spend money on suspension but no idea what to do

Tuff country still makes a 4" lift. I'm not sure how exact that 4" is, I don't know anyone with one, but it's an option if you are really particular about the height. I have the Zone 6" on my truck with the Bilstien 5100 shocks and I love it. The Zone kit seems like it's pretty high quality...

I want to spend money on suspension but no idea what to do

4" lift or nothing, those 2-3 inch lifts are just the worst of both worlds. The RCX kits are all 5" lifts, you crank up to get 6 or down to get 4. But if you get one thats actually 4, you can de-crank down to 3.5 or 3. I put Bilstein 5100s on my truck and they are amazing. Most kits come with...

    Shackle flip with body lift

Is it a CV on the top of the last driveshaft? From what I've read (I'm dealing with pinion angle too currently) a CV driveshaft should be directly in line with the pinion. If its just a regular U joint on top then it'll be the same as a regular one, pinion parallel to whatever's at the other end...

Handling difference with mud tire and 18”

Well that's about how far mine stick out and it does make a small difference. Also, even if everything it torqued and not binding and clunking there might still be some slop in the parts, plus having the wheels out of alignment means they are fighting each other as you try to drive so that would...

Handling difference with mud tire and 18”

Do the new wheels and tires stick out much farther than stock? That would make the steering feel a little sluggish. But fix the things that are for-sure broken first, like the steering components and alignment.

    Shackle flip with body lift

Neat. I've never seen that on an OBS before. How did you get that?

    Shackle flip with body lift

I thought that the pinion and Tcase had to be parallel, which would mean that the pinion should point slightly down

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

Thats a good point. Hopefully the taper on the block will get me close enough that I can do it with just a one or two degree shim, if any.

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

I got tapered blocks and a few different sized shims so hopefully I can get the pinion angle dialed in. Ideally I'd like it level with all my daily driving stuff in it, including the spare. I don't mind if it sags when it's loaded since that's less frequent than driving around empty. I know it...

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

No I was looking for a kit for that and I saw ORD had one for suburbans but they didn't mention if it would fit other models and they don't make it for anything else. It's 3" of lift though which would be too much for me anyway.

No, sorry all I got was the bumper and what's attached to it.

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

The stock shackle is 4.25" and ORD mentioned on their website that any extra shackle length is halved in terms of lift. So the 1/4 inch difference between the stock and HD shackle only nets 1/8" of extra lift. My 2" blocks came and I also ordered 1.5" blocks too. I'd prefer not to crank any...

    37s on 6" lift?

So the lift and tires have been on for about a week. I can tell you that with moderate trimming (bumper, valence, and inside of the fender wells) 37s clear fine for normal driving, but will rub if you hit big bumps both on and off road. Like swinging too hard into an uphill driveway, hitting a...

    Truck rides like a brick.

You should look at the door sticker to see your OEM suggested tire pressure and start there. For my 1500 it says 35 PSI, and I ran that for years on my 265s, 285s and 305s. When I put my 37s on recently I had to go up to 40 pounds to get rid of that "lookin kinda low" sidewall bulge. If you...

    Bed rack

Those things look cool but I just don't see how they are any better than a normal lumber rack, aside from the side-mounted stuff, which can be added to an existing rack much easier than building one from scratch. Also, despite these things being all the rage lately, there are still far more used...

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

Unfortunately (Stupidly) no I have not, next time I get the chance I'll do that. Take a measurement, turn the truck around, measure again, drive somewhere else, etc.

    Extra Lift After Shackle Flip?

Well I think I know why it was only rubbing on the one side... I went out today and measured again and that side was about an inch lower! I cranked it up some more but my problem is that I don't think there is a single piece of level ground in my whole town because it's all built on sand...
