My k2500 with a 350 gets 15 in the summer if it isn't windy and I drive nicely. 12-13 is more realistic.

I removed mine on my k2500. I change the oil now at 3500 instead of 5000 miles, just because it is taking more abuse.

I have a stock 4.8 in my '06. My truck is 2wd and light. If you wind the 4.8 up, it screams pretty good. Feels kinda fun in my application....
