On my 97 k1500 The door lock button doesn’t work on the drivers side. The passenger side works. When I use my key fob locks it will lock both but then will only unlock the drivers side?? Non custom sub boxes
Does anyone have any experience with sub boxes in ext cabs that aren’t the custom under the seat ones but still keeping the back seats? -

Best replacement for rear speakers
I actually have a bit of a jank setup for my speakers. I have JL c1 6.5s in the door which are powered by an amp. I also have 6x9 JL c1 in boxes under the back seats(extended cab) from another truck that I ended up not using so I decided to put them in here for now until I get actual subs. -

I want to replace my rear 4x6s and I’m wondering what the best thing to replace them with would be? I’ve seen some people on here talk about how they prefer to replace them with just a 4” round speaker instead. Are there any other options and what are some preferred brands that people use? -
Headlights on as soon as I start the truck
I recently out in movotor led headlights in my 97 Sierra, and now my low beams always come on as soon as I start my truck. This isn’t a huge issue but I would prefer it if the one came on when switched on so that the half ring around the headlights(DRL’s) would show up not when I switched them...- Rylo

https://sgi.sk.ca/mud-flaps This is the lo for sure they wouldn’t. The thing that makes me mad is that there is another obs that has been running almost identical tires to mine just a bit wider (mine are 12 wide and his are 12.5) and he’s been driving that truck with no mud flaps or fender...- Rylo

The ****** thing is too is that I literally just spent two weeks using patching the rust holes and now they tell me I gotta get flares. I think I’m gonna get bigger mud flaps though and see if they leave me alone.- Rylo

Does anyone know how to remove a remote starter from a 97 sierra
Forgot to clarify I mean the purple and white wires which were the only ones plugged into the remote start. The other two were just left unconnected to anything- Rylo

These are the only wires that I haven’t reconnected now that I’ve taken the remote start module out. Do you happen to know what these wires are/ where they would connect to? ( I’ve never done much with vehicles before and definitely not with a starter system which is why I know next to nothing)- Rylo

I have a remote starter that was in the truck when I bought it, and I am now wanting to remove it. I unplugged everything from it and then my truck wouldn’t turn over. I then plugged everything back in and it still will not turn over. Anyone have any solutions?- Rylo
