I don't think so unless you're missing hearing for the exhaust I'm talking about the clicking. Could be a bolt loose but i don't think it'd sound like that- Feral peasant

No I was just keeping up with traffic, when I first started the truck it started making that noise, originally I thought it might have been the 4x4 switch but it wasn't. 98 Chevy Tahoe 5.7L It sounds like a contactor going on and off but I don't know what it could be I thought it was plastic so I held all the plastic in place while driving but the noise still happened I started noticing it today after work...- Feral peasant

Dash skin/ replacement?
98 Tahoe so the previous owner put a dash skin on, that's cool. But he broke all the clips on the top of the dash to hold the dash face on and tried to hot glue it, all that glue broke and I was wondering if I had to swap the complete dash since those receiving clips broke? Maybe the speakers needed to warm up? I did also turn down my phone volume a little bit and now I can get it decently high around 28 haven't gone higher since I don't wanna risk speaker health- Feral peasant

Yeah I haven't messed with the sound on the radio itself just increase and decreased the volume. I'll have to start thinking about that amp for the meds and highs soon since I want it to be a bit louder it starts at like 18 ish out of 35- Feral peasant

Oh I thought that was a decent spot to put it besides in the cab and run it to the door also makes it easy to add an amp to the system. I believe though at higher volumes it distorts like crazy is that something that an amp would fix?- Feral peasant

Oh I already wired them in without it since they needed input and I figured I'd need an amp for that which I don't have for the doors. Also on the passenger side the guy cut the tweeter wires out so I don't know which is positive and which is negative. I ran a multimeter on 20vdc and they both...- Feral peasant

I'm having this weird problem where nothing fits lol I just self tapped the speaker in place but now I'm having the problem of the tweeters wires don't match up and it doesn't fit in the hand control unit. I was thinking of hot gluing it in but I don't- Feral peasant

I have 3 wires left to connect blue, orange(illumination), orange white( dimmer) on the adapter part. On the radio connecter P. Cont, steering wheel remote input, and mute. I'm assuming the blue wire on the adapter and the P. Cont go together since the diagram says it's the amp/ antenna wire...- Feral peasant

DO NOT buy from crutchfield, I got the speakers and everything seems to be good but they sold all my information, someone ordered Uber eats using my card, I got a scam call from someone trying to use my significant others father's name.
