Nice. I've been using efi live since 2003 and my buddy brought me his HPT to help him tune his twin turbo 5.3.
Hate how different the layouts are :(

I've had it for almost two months. But haven't actually tuned anything. Been reading and studying on how to do it. I'm a newb at it, and don't wanna screw anything up!

If you don't have a wideband o2 yet, you're definitely going to want one. Also, if you want, I can email you the layout and channel files that I use, would just save some time.

I've been looking into the wide band. Seems it's the only way to properly tune one. That would be great about the files. I'll PM you my email. Thanks!

The wideband will help you tremendously in knowing if your running to lean. You can safely tune it where the pcm still takes control of the vehicle. Just when you start diving into the fuel tables it will cause you some worry with out it. There are a.couple YouTube videos that explain what Chevy did in the PE tables.

Also when you command 12.5AFR in the PE table and it ends up running 11.1AFR you wont know unless you have a wideband.
Silly stuff like piston protection PE and stuff like that throws it all off.
