I have a 95 K2500 Silverado with the 6.5 Turbo. Question one, sometimes my wipers work and sometimes they don't. If they don't work when I turn the truck on, they won't work the whole time, but if they work when I turn it on, they'll work until I shut it off again, then it's all up in the air whether it'll work again.
Second question, sometimes the starter doesn't kick on when I turn the key. All the lights come on, the glow plugs run their cycle, and when I turn the key forward there's a single click and nothing more. If I release it and try a few more times, it will usually kick on and start the truck. Any ideas? Any suggestions are appreciated

You need a new pulse board in your wiper motor. Maybe $25 at the local parts store. I did the resolder trick but it only lasted a few weeks.
You could try tapping on the starter with a wrench while someone else turns the key but it could be as simple as a loose wire.

Looks like it belonged to some aftermarket alarm or something. That black sleeve doesn't look like any other oem wiring I have seen in these trucks. The only wires covered in rubber like that are the airbag wires, but that's a yellow rubber, and you wouldn't have airbags on a 92 model (at least in the states).

Got a question not sure if it's covered somewhere else an I couldn't find. Got couple quotes to have a new double din with 6 inch touch screen with Bluetooth an back up camera, all new speakers, as well as a 13 inch drop down dvd player in my 99 suburban, have the dealer audiovox which would have to be removed and all new wiring. Quotes were between 1500-3000. Does that sound about right for what I'm asking to be done? Lower end price was from an ok shop an high price was from a well respected shop who installs pretty much everything.

Hey guys, my temp gauge reads high. Is there a ground for the cluster somewhere?

Also, my turn signals will play with my speedo a bit sometimes when blinking.

All other in engine grounds cleaned. Just need to assess the interior. Thx

So i have a 97 ECSB, and the A/C has never worked in the few months I've had it. I've been reading about the different fan door and low pressure cutoff switch issues, and Im thinking it might be part of my Problem. The HVac is always blowing the floor, and is always hot. Still though, it will also blow simultaneously wherever you set the fan to blow. Is there anything i can do to troubleshoot it? I can never hear the compressor turn on, but the light illuminates on the hvac control.

Thanks guys
