Does anyone know if you can swap out the cable shift linkage bracket to the older style rod style shifter on a later model 4L80E? (My trans controller works with all 4L80E's 94 and up.)

never mind I figured it out.

Not compatible.

91-94 use a specific linkage and 95+ use a completely different one. The earlier style will not work on the later style rod.
