Thanks! And will do! Getting the proper shade paint this week and the new sub box is getting covered in mahogany veneer and stained and a nice gel clear coat finish next week! Got a equalizer app on the iPad and the sound adjustment and quality has improved by so much! Really starting to like it more!

Dang bro, nice job and nice subwoofer box. I built my own box for two digital designs 8" 500 watt subwoofers a few months back

Won't be hard to do a iPad in a 95+ I'm going to do one just for the fun of it for my buddies 97 so I will post pics of it as I go and let you know how it goes. Ac controls might need moved but I'm going to check it out

^That looks great! I'd love to have an underseat sub box. The behind the seat box looks like it will pound the air out of your chest.

I've made a serious stereo upgrade since I posted last. I chose to go with a stock stereo... but the stereo came with a new truck as well. LOL

They old truck was building up a laundry list of expensive and necessary repairs quicker than I could address them. I traded the 1994. ext cab Sierra on a 2005 Crew Cab Sierra.

I haven't had a personal vehicle with A/C in it (my woman did, just not me) in well over 8 years. This new one has nice features we tend to take for granted like door seals that don't leak in a car wash, factory paint that's all one color, an engine that holds more oil than it leaks... you know, the little things.

Of course some things never change, like the NEW truck cd player wont pull in cd's. All 4 door speakers were blown. I replaced all the speakers with kicker 6.5s that have a surprising amount of bass in this new truck (probably bc it's actually sealed and there's 100% less road noise infiltrating the cab). Since the headunit in my new truck only plays fm radio now and there's no auxiliary input..... I guess you can see where this is going. LOL

My idea of mounting a small tablet is still fresh in my head and I'm going to continue moving forward on this. I've even given serious thought to using my phone instead of a tablet since it's small enough to fit in the double din opening. There might even be a reverse camera in my future, as well. I want to install a smaller amp to run these door speakers and the 2 factory tweets. To keep my new truck nice and tidy, I'm thinking of using a bluetooth interface to connect the tablet to the amplifier. This is the piece I'm looking at.

I'll only need a switched hot for this and the remote lead for the amp, plus the typical amp wiring.

There's a guy making iPad and Galaxy installation kits to do this on youtube. His website is www.soundmanca.com

I think the kits are overpriced beyond belief but they do look good. He makes a Galaxy install kit from 1/4" MDF that glues together and you bodywork it into the dash bezel. If he can make them, we can make them.

Sorry my post turned out to be a novel this time.

You could probably do an iPad mini and get away with not moving anything
