So yeah the plan was to have them Line-X'd black but after testing them I learned I'm not a fan of black bumpers. I'll have my cousin color match them later this summer.

Black bumpers and the black flares work waay better than I thought they would have!

I want to have the trans hot flushed before I do the cam swap and dyno tune it. I have a 700 mile road trip coming up at the end of the month. I'll get it all done after that. Thank god the AC works.

Nice progress. How do you like the Mag-Hytec?
Not a huge fan of the black bumpers so I'm going to get them color matched.
Overall I like the clear liner below the trim. You can see that it has a bit of a matte finish, but it will protect it from rust and rocks.
Dyno tuned with EFI-Live it to the tune of 184hp and 242tq at the tire which is right on the money for a healthy stock vortec 350 with a 4L80, t-case, and 14 bolt. It's a good baseline because after I add the marine intake, headers, and mild cam it should be in the 220-230hp range at the tires.
End of the day just wrapped up a 700 mile road trip and got 16.4mpg even with the hills and the AC on so I'm happy with it. Got just a few more things I want to do and then it's perfect.

Looks amazing! And a big lifted 2500 that gets good mileage to boot!
Personally I like the black bumpers, they go well with the fender-flares; I think red might be a little too overwhelming. But then again, this truck looks incredible no matter what!

Ordered a Mag-Hytec trans pan for the 4L80 along with a a pillar gauge pod and a basic auto meter gauge. Having the whole system hot flushed and refilled with DEX6.
Truck also only has a hitch and no wiring (owner never towed anything) so taking it this week to get a brake controller and wiring installed.
