you have to be care with the 4/6 drop .... custom wheels in the front will/could stick out past the fender lip....my stock tires were perfect...my 305/50/20's stuck out 2.5 inches past the fender...thats why i have 3" bulged off road racing fenderson the front

you can see that, if you were at the lowest drop and hit a bump , with wide tires and rims, your tread would be rubbing the fender lip

Btw I LOVE your truck..... you have done some very nice work :waytogo:

Thanks Low4x4. I found a torsion key for 4-4.5" of drop. Then do shackles and hangers in the rear to get 4" and maybe remove a leaf to get 5". I really appreciate all the info and help. DroppedAsAChild, I'll check his truck out...Thanks!

Been a while since I posted here, but I finally lowered my truck a bit... Western Chassis torsion keys, shackles and hangers. The hangers will be going on this week. So right now, it's 3.5" in the front and 2" in the rear, will be 4" in the rear...Also did Belltech Street Performance shocks.

I need to get some lower profile tires though...These ones drive me nuts. 275/55r20
