No...I bought some that were longer, hoping more LED's would make them be bright enough to be useful. Unfortunately they were too long for the housing by at least .5" ... haven't bothered getting different ones. I actually had those IPCW 44-led "ruby red" LED housings on there for a while recently, had a little connector trouble and popped them off. Now they're on my Suburban and I ordered another set of the IPCW's so the black truck will have them too. Catch is, the reverse bulb in those is a relatively tiny medium wedge base (912, etc.) so it's gonna be even tougher to get one that has any decent brightness to it.

...and this is how it goes; I just got through spending nearly $300 on freaking LED's and that doesn't even include the extra set of IPCW taillights. Thanks fellas. Gotta deck out the Suburban ya know. Oh, and that's not even anything for the interior; it's all exterior for now.

My corners dont have bulbs in, one side didnt work rarely so i pulled the bulbs. I have leds in my reverse lights (they barely fit, look like they touch the lense but ive never had any problems bc they dont get hot enough to do anything and they arent forced in there, they are perfect.

i get all my leds from superbrightleds.com they are a bit pricey but ya get what ya pay for and ive had great service from them as well as i am beyond impressed by what ive bought

Just remember you only need the SRCK LED's for the middle socket on the circuit board - the one that is dual function, tail & turn/brake. The upper one that is only tail you can use the regular LED, no need to get SRCK's. Most suppliers offer the same LED's configured either way so just be careful you don't mix them up.

I've bought from Superbright before, got OK products, and they warrantied one that went bad without any questions. However I've been dealing mostly with Autolumination lately because they have those much brighter Cree 50W and 80W projector style LED's.

I've bought a lot of LED bulb replacements over the years - those first ones from HZ Engineering which although dim, were really the state of the art as they were pretty much first to market. Later some cheesy parts house Pilot brand which were so-so and failed after a while. V-LED's had some really great products a few years back, pricey but nice; not a fan of their newest offerings in the Triton as I mentioned before. Superbright was OK, I think I like Autolumination the best right now.

Does the flasher hack work on the 89's as well? I installed my switchbacks this afternoon. Had to put in all for resistors as well to get the flashing back to normal but the left side seems a bit faster than the right side.

Just installed switchbacks in the front on my truck. Got the ep29 flasher in. Took me awhile to figure out why the white wasn't working and amber would when i flicked the turn signal on. After pulling one of the corner bulbs, that side came on. So...my question is-could i put a load resistor on the corner bulb only for it to work? I got a set at work and thought about trying that before i bought 4 load resistors to put on the switchbacks

I'm running switchbacks in my signals and led's in the corners. Put one resistor per side on one of the signal/bumper light bulbs and they all work normal. Not sure how putting resistors on just the corners would work.

Tried putting them on the corners. Did not work. Made the switchbacks go to amber. One on each side on turn signal did the trick. Thanks
