Video^^

Thanks to the help from my dad despite my frustration, got the right flasher in the right location so my LED Switchbacks would work in my turn signals! The camera doesn't show the colors very accurately but they light up white (no blueish tint) and switch to amber when the signals are activated! After finding the right flasher and location to install it I got away with not having to use any spliced in resistors.
The turn signal flasher on my 95 was up under the middle of the dash which was a pita to get to, after getting it we swapped the EP36 for the TURN SIGNAL relay/flasher
I also put in the EP28 Hazard flasher as well, probably didn't need to but I had it.

Me Likey! Glad you got 'em working! Now do the upper corner mod!

Did both your corners work before the switchbacks? Problems running LED's in my corners is part of how I got to the solution of adding my resistors back in.

Thanks for the link; I need to buy another set and V-LED's doesn't sell the style I bought from them back in 2011, go figure. ;) I don't like that new "Triton" crap they have. Very expensive for a one-size-fits-all type of bulb. The other ones they have that are non-Triton all look much longer; too long for this application - they're 60mm long overall.

I like my old ones from V-LED's though. youtube kind of hosed the timing on them; they aren't "jerky" like they appear in the video:

So, along the lines of the flasher, those of you with all LED tails and front lighting, do your turn signal indicators in the dash turn on with the parking lights on at like 1/2 brightness? Somewhere the LEDs are backfeeding enough to light mine up dim. I've narrowed it down to being in the front lighting I think.

The black '94 has switchbacks for fronts, LED corner bulbs, and 3157-replacement LED's out back - as described earlier, I hacked the flasher to kill hyperflash, added the resistors back in to make the switchbacks work correctly. I have no issues with the indicators on the dash, they work as expected. The only unusual behavior at all out of that truck is that the hazards flash much slower than the turn signals, which are -slightly- fast, but nowhere near hyperflash. You can kinda see it in that youtube vid, despite the jerky timing of the end-result video.

So are you using those LED 3157's in the tails with the OEM circuit boards? Everytime I've tried that, the fuse for the tails blows as soon as I turn on the lights.

You gotta get the SRCK version just for the middle socket - the tail/turn/stop socket. That's actually something I helped one of the first people in the LED automotive bulb replacement biz figure out, guy running a company name of Hz Engineering. Bought a set for my white '92 to use in the APC clears, and they literally started smoking. Discussed the details with him, sent pics, circuit layout, etc. and he redesigned a set that worked properly. That was in the late 90's. He called the new ones C/K style, and later the other companies that got into the game came out with SRCK because I think a few models of newer trucks (different brands) have the same weird wiring.

Here's some V-LED's from several years ago; on tail and brake function, OEM boards -
