contact as in hit/rub? preventing the tailgate from closing right? I don't have problems with mine, got mine of a earlier model 400 truck.

Mine are off a 91 and for some reason the right side contacts the edge of the bed just below the tail light. I have to push it in to clear it.

And the color matched grille looks awesome!!!! Nice job!

hmm idk man all i know is i used the bolts off the older truck and i didnt have a problem.......thanks for the compliments dudes!

Something that might even be better.....I haven't used either...... is a sprayer from Harbor Freight that you fill with air from a compressor. That way you wouldn't have to buy more cartridges. Assuming you don't have a full size compressor, I bet it could be filled with a little one for tires, if you've got one of those.

I guess the one thing that the Preval system ensures is, no water in the paint.

The guy i worked for bought a air gun from harbor freight for 10 buck and hes used it alot works well, i thought about going to get one but i took his word on this one and was impressed and satisfied!

Basically stock for now, bought it for 4500 i believe from my old neighbor who babied it and kept it in the garage all the time, Currently has 156-157k miles on it.

Had to replace oil pump when it was first bought, truck has some minor cosmetic things i need to replace
auto mirror switch-done

corner lens sockets
EGR valve
ac compressor
HVAC controls-ordered
radiator-ordered
preheater hose
door pin/bushing kits
pass. window motor,(intermittently works, sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt sometimes its stuck up sometimes stuck down)
need to seal the turn signals and corners with silicone to rid the moisture

i have a bunch of plans for it ie lift wheels and tars, etc

day we got it (next to my old school commuter 67 #s matching c10)

after mods (5% tint, clear headlights, signals, corners. led tailgate bar, blue led gauge/hvac mod,

had halo projectors and smoked signals but did not like the look

waiting on radiator and hvac controls to be delivered ordered tyc elegante headlights so i can run hids,(lights i have now are crystal clear glass headlights without glarecaps so dnw to run hids and blind people)

any opinions or advice is welcome!

wanting to pull the mouldings and thinking about putting nnbs silverado badges on it

earlier model gmt400 88-89 idk the year it was a 88-90 gm truck
