just got her buttoned up this morning. took it for its madden voyage with the new motor did wonderful took it easy on it though. now gotta wait for some help to put my hood back on lol.
In case yall were wondering its a 97 gmc k1500 z71 350 vortec sle with 365xxx on the body now. 30xxx on the tranny 90xxx on the motor

Help re-installing the hood? Pssshhhtt....

That's a freshly painted hood, reinstalling on top of freshly painted fenders. Moving blanket to protect the fenders, slide the hood on and supported with 12lb. sledgehammer, so I can get in there and attach the hinges. :gr_grin:

ive installed my hood alone too because I was too impatient ... what a bad ideer lol ... the way you did here looks like I worked well lol

Gave her the seat of the pants test. Man is it neaner then when i got it. Even with 3 42 gears i can still spin the tires on dry pavment with no break. Gotta love the 350 vortec
