Will be no problem. The temp probs are the same from the mirrors and DIC's, just a matter of wiring it up.

good deal,,,, but why would my truck come with this mirror and the temp not be wired up?

Question for people who have done this.i bought my mirror over the winter and just waited for it to get nice out. Now why would i need to make a harness for the mirror? Couldnt i just cut the harness up near the headliner? Or is it better to cut it down by the dash to connect the wires?

Doesn't really matter. I prefer to do my splicing under the dash. When I installed mine however, I was installing a homelink unit in the headliner as well, so i used some speedwire and ran it from the mirror through the roof, and down the ac pillar.

I just finished doing this install in my '95 pickup today. The compass works fine but I get nothing for the temperature, just a dark screen. No "OC" displayed either. When I push the temp button, the little green light comes on and goes off if I push it again. I checked my wiring and it all appears okay. I tried with a different sensor and pigtail but no change. Dimming feature works well. Any ideas? Thanks if advance!
