I'm thinking about switching my grill over to a GMC grill. What all is needed other than the grill? What all parts are compatible. I have a 97 Chevy composite style and wish to go to a similar year GMC composite.

The head lights and parking lights are compatible, you need the gmc corners and the I think the filler pieces.

Filler pieces are the same. Since you're doing a same-year swap (late to late), the only differences are the grille shell itself and the sidemarker lenses.

Yup direct swap, with minor things like the aforementioned corners. Basically it's a cheaper way to get a colormatched grille, then getting your chevy one done. While your getting new side markers anyways, might as well take the time and maybe color match them or tint them man! :)
