Thanks - alot of work , I have been watching your build thread ......the glidden paint I used is a really close match if your going to paint your interior and very reasonably priced. I took a pic of the can earlier in my thread ..... good luck on your build with your son ......

Dash done....I'm happy with the analog gages and GPS speedometer....I painted the Dolphin Bezel the same dash color and used the factory dash gage hood . I just simply cut the center out of the hood / frame to fit the mechanical gages . Also attaching my wiring notes if anyone else does an 89 this way . Note all color codes on the behind the display GM dash connector matched the drawings.

Wow that turned out nice, good job.
Tx....I like the look and spent the extra time to detail , paint and repair the old outer dash bezel as well ...The headlight switch posts were gone pretty much. After fixing those I found a color close to the original dash bezel color called Galaxy Gray Metallic (Honda Element color ) and detailed and sprayed the outer final bezel with that color to finish it off .....

Had an annoying tick that sounded like a valvetrain loose rocker or sticking lifter frankly ....used the soapy water spray trick to locate the manifold leaks. Then purchased these Fel pro exhaust manifold gaskets.... Issue solved tick completely gone.
