Or for TBI the 19418995 (mine came in the same looking box - I bought this one in Sept 2022 on Amazon's ACDelco Store. Country of origin, Poland. Gotta be better than most ;)

So far as I know, the factory in Poland making ignition coils...

...is owned by Standard Motor Products.

www.standardbrand.com/en/products/blue-streak/categories/blue-streak-ignition-coils
"As testing shows, we’ve designed our Blue Streak Ignition Coils for superior performance and durability under the harshest conditions."
Tomasz Michalik
Technical Director
SMP Bialystok, Poland

So I guess we know where ACDelco is sourcing (at least some of) their coils.

Amazingly enough, one of the MANY "brands" owned by SMP is "Pollak".

Other brands include but are not limited to "Standard", "Blue Streak", "Echlin", and "BWD".

When we had questions on the forum a couple years ago about distributor caps, I emailed United Motor Products and asked. They answered quickly and knowledgeably. They're also one of very few companies that offer distributor caps with brass contacts. I'm a cheapskate, but they don't ask too much of a premium for their parts. I buy their parts.

The thing is though, you can’t just choose one company. D.U.I. as an example has Made in USA parts and made in china parts. I suspect that’s typical of most parts companies.

The DUI ICM supposedly has a little more sack, this is from site:

“Improve the performance of your Vortec by installing our high dwell Dyna-Module! Dwell within the module controls a coils saturation time, which is the time needed by the coil to produce a spark. The dwell in our Dyna-Module has been increased electronically to provide the coil with additional saturation time. The result is a more intense and longer duration spark in the combustion chamber that will improve throttle response and low end power! Installation is easy as the Dyna-Module mounts in the original factory location with no modifications”.

I messaged them yesterday and asked if U.S. manufactured. This was response:

“Our distributors and LiveWires are built in the USA. Coils are made in China. There are no coil manufacturers left in America, sadly”.
I’m definitely intrigued with their Vortec Distributor!

After installing the DUI coil and ICM my throttle felt a lot crisper. Dunno if it was a placebo effect or if it actually made a difference; either way the OE coil was absolutely on it's way out and the ICM probably wasn't fairing too well either. I just hope putting their distributor in will make a big difference too since I'm 90% certain my OE dizzy is probably worn, over 200K miles on the truck now and it's never been changed.

Did you order distributor? Bit of a lead time on them, says on site made to order and hand made(in USA).

Haven't ordered one yet, probably be another couple of weeks before I can since I've got a vacation I'm trying to get everything paid for and it's tapping into the truck funds. I'm hoping to have the red truck dropped off my mid-July for new intake gaskets, a new dizzy and a couple other things. I'd do it myself but the guy who did intake gaskets last time said if they ever started leaking again to come back and he'd get it fixed; I think that's the source of my misfire I've been battling for months.
But when I order the new distributor from DUI I'll be sure to report back on the quality.

go to a dealer either walk on or online and order the parts. Even if it’s China made they have different levels of chinesium quality. AC Delco brand has been diluted by GM where it now has a tiered parts quality. The dealer level purchased parts.seems to be the top of the tier.

It sucks but most aftermarket isn’t what it used to be. Even the so called top tier brands like Accell or MSD ( I personally won’t use either brand) It’s almost like I need to order two parts one to install and one to throw in the bed and keep as a spare on the road.

For electronics or sensors I just buy facteoy stuff. The aftermarket is too much of a variable in quality. I will use a aftermarket part in a emergency to say get me home situation.
