I don't think it was/is a bad pin but there is really no other explanation, IF it does not revert to the original crappy running.
I kinda wonder if when it was running +30% trim it was somehow exercising the injectors and now they are working better?

Drove it about 10 miles again after work and i can say it is running about 80% better for sure.
When driving the LTFT is about -6/7%, at idle it will climb to about -11% coasting to a stop. Accelerating it will drop to -3/4% then level out at -6/7% with a steady throttle.
You can just barely feel a misfire now. I also notice my timing is running about 1 to 2 degrees more than it was also.
Here is something i forgot all about mentioning and should have done it months ago when i discovered it.
The Knock sensors were torqued to 17FP originally. I later found out the proper torque should be 14FP but i forgot all about it till last weekend.
I did not retorque them but i loosened them both 1 turn so maybe that has been the problem the entire time?
Now i think a tune might be needed to match the new CompCams "RV" style cam. Wish the usual free tools for 0411 could do the black box ecu.
And finally the new window tint is great! i love it. It is amazing how well you can see out of it but not into it.

Made what i considered a score at the wrecking yard today.
A 94ish console. Took a chance knowing if it would bolt in or not but it's an exact fit. Also cleaned up decent. Need to figure out how to deep clean the finish.
There is also a complete perfect dash not sure of the year but it has the passenger cupholders so im going back next weekend or two and for a few hours work removing it and $25 it's mine. Thinking i might try my hand at leather wrapping the dash.
Also, i wanna grab the heater box and rebuild it. New evaporator, heater core, seals It's a 94/95 is it the same as a 98?

Probably better off just redoing the finish. Does it bolt in the same way that the 95+ stuff does? That one will at least do a better job of obscuring all the crap that falls between it and the seat.

Great score on that console! I've seen one in the yards, and it was too damaged and missing a few parts, for me to buy it (stupid LKQ wouldn't give me a price break on it ).

Direct bolt in but it does sit about 1/4 to the passenger side. Guy could probably oblong the mount hole's to get that 1/4in back but really it's no big deal.
I like it way better than the 98 style console but it does still sit a little to low like the 98 style.
Also forgot to mention the rear bracket of the 98 style is not needed any longer.

Good to know! Hopefully I can get back into my yard trips and score some more parts. A few things I need for Rawhide the crew cab and the Burb.....
Simple Green is a good vinyl/plastic interior parts cleaner. We used to get the GM 3 and 4 spoked steering wheels like the Corvette and Chevelle use, back when some of the 70s cars they used them in were in the pick a part yards. Most of em would be so grungy you couldn't tell what color they were! So we had a plastic washtub in the bathroom, with warm water and Simple Green in it. The wheel would soak in there for a couple days, and with a little scrubbing, would come nice and clean.

Electric fans report.
The electric fans seem to be working good so far. Today was 90F out on my drive home from work in stop and go traffic for a few miles.
Temps got up to 199.4F according to the Torque gauge. When moving it would drop to 194F. On a cooler day temps will normally read between 185f and 192f. I have a 195F thermostat installed.
The battery voltage usually runs 14.5 volts with both interior on low.
With the front and rear fan on high with ac on and radiator fans running the volts dropped to 13.9 but never lower in stop and go traffic.
So far a success i think but we will see when its 90F out and im pulling a 3 mile hill in the mountains at 10 mph!

One of my valve covers developed a crack somehow and needed to be replaced. This should work out good.

Installed this today. Man what a little self inflicted torture device this is. No instructions at all just a packing list.
The brackets will fit L/R with two possible positions on each bracket until you try to bolt the centerpiece on, then you're taking the brackets back off.
The tow hooks will fit but need switched side to side and longer bolts.
After 5 hours its on and i think it looks pretty good. Not everyone's cup of tea but i like em.
