I wasn't happy with the fitment of the Classic Dash, 7" Holley dash mount from day one. Especially with how close to the driver and vertically mounted it was.
Switched to a Reversion Raceworks dash mount, which orients the Holley dash in a more canted manner, much better viewability. It also moves the display 5" further into the dashboard. Allowing the OEM instrument panel bezel to be used.
We're really stretching the term OEM+, but here we are. It helps things look a bit more factory.

Now to focus on that pesky AC manifold, get this thing vacuumed down and charged. We're beyond the point of needing air conditioning in the Heartland.

In the lines of our OEM+ mantra...I'll allow it on the dash, 400% better than the Holley nonsense.
Yeah, the '49 won't be getting driven much for the next 3 months, unless its early AM or dark...one of these days I'll pull the front wrap and start on the AC.

That's where I'm at. Wife wanted to drive this to LMC yesterday. No thank you. It was HOT.
It doesn't help we're already at 90 degrees for the day.
I'm not sure I want this to be a cool weather driver. Definitely more enjoyable to drive year round.

Man, this 6 speed was 100% the move.
I can't remember the last time this truck cruised 80mph this comfortably. Truck is laser straight and super smooth down the highway.
