Hello I have an 89 2500 5.7. I bought a new battery and put it in went to hook up cables and it sounded like it made a good connection but no lights or anything will turn on. Thought it was the fuse but fuse is good. Not sure please help.

Ok, battery is good, next measure voltage again but on the battery connectors not the battery terminals. Still good? Move the black probe to the frame, still good? Then you are loosing power somewhere and it gets slightly more complicated.
