I have a 1992 Suburban, and I want to add another set of cross bars to the factory rack to strengthen the base for a large roof basket. I can find plenty of factory cross bars in local yards, but could not figure out how to remove them. I assume its done by unbolting the side rails but just wanted to double check before I somehow cause more leaks into the interior of my truck.
