G'day fellow Kiwi, that is a beautiful truck you have.
That thought hits me with just about every post HWB makes on this thread. And when Joe Dirte counted all the 400s he encountered on a drive one day. As frequent as lamp posts. In Scotland I have seen one other GMT400. One!

Funny thing about the Houston, Texas area: it really depends on where you are, as to how many older trucks you see. Some of the more prosperous areas, Range Rovers are so common it's like you're in the UK. But the working class areas, that's where most of the older cars and trucks are. Where we live is sort of a bridge area (figuratively and literally) between nicer parts and more ghetto parts. But even passing through the nicer parts, might see a service truck that's older. I think 400s and 800s are used by guys starting out in the landscape business, and by guys who do their own maintenance and want something they can work on.
I'd drive her anywhere from here to California...

Rawhide wasn't the only 400 at the county healthcare office this morning....
The gold RCSB was at Kroger yesterday, it has a nice Mexican Chevy grille that unfortunately didn't get in my pix. He was movin on....
