I have a 90 c1500 5.7l and I found a steel line that appears to be cut off around straight above the rear axle on the drivers side, and runs basically to the firewall and then is cut off again. Appears to me to have been cut a while ago. And looks like factory routing. Vehicle runs prefect. Does anyone know what this line is?

Ok that would be my best guess as well. But I’ll send a picture so it’s easier to see if this works it’s the only one that’s cut off. Guess my great grandpa had a ****** mechanic. Thanks

I haven’t really looked into it. The pedal was rock solid before I got it running then got squishy after I had to mess with one of the drums. Guessing it’s out of alignment. I think it looks moist down there because it had been sitting in a partially open garage for 10+ years so it doesn’t have “salty” rust it has moisture rust. But I will look into a leaky line there. Thanks for the help
