You have fine taste in vehicles, sir. Well done.

What year/model is the Cadillac? It looks very similar to one my grandpa on my dad's side used to have.

Both he and that car are long gone sadly, but that Caddy saved his life on it's way out. Another driver crossed into his lane on a two lane blacktop doing 50-60MPH around a corner and smashed into him head on. He climbed out the window and walked away from it, then proceeded to help the other driver to safety. His left leg gave him problems for the rest of his life after that but it was a miracle that he survived at all. The car was almost completely unrecognizable, I think we still have pictures somewhere.

Think its a 92 us import. Its my dads and he got a similar story but not as severe. He had a dark blue euro spec 92 earlyer that he got t-bone from the left. He walked away without injury. The car got scrapped. He's to old for driving now so when the wp went a couple of years ago we got it to my place. The heatercore(?) busted so the passenger side carpet got all wet for a long time and after that the motor is running strange. All good for a couple of miles and the everything shuts down,no ac,running on 4 cyl, no fan etc, the all off a suden it runs great again. Hoping that (I think..) a bcm thats located somewere behind the glovebox got water in it.....fingers crossed
It was really nice when he just have bought it...

Please mind thats a different market over here in Sweden. Ex a 350 who needs a rebuild is like $1000-1500, used LM/LS is $2500-3000. With that in mind my "enginebuilder" thought I would keep the 305 boatanchor and get me some new heads. Considering its a roller and I only put like $600 total so far, he said alloyheads but I don't think I want to put that kind of money in it.
So, please help , where do I get new heads cheapest? This is just a cruize truck, no performance and no long haul. Anyone??

That crack can be ground out, welded, and re-machined, but it'll always be a weak point. One of my Vortec heads had been repaired, but cracked again, right in the same spot.
