Did the Blue Top steering box improve your Ford's steering?
Technically yes. There wasn’t any return to center, so it just ping ponged in the lane. I’ve had better reman boxes from a1cardone (that brand being my last choice for anything) The box I replaced, seemed to be original and was *clapped* about 90 degrees of steering wheel rotation input before there was any output.

Yeah that pitman shaft bushing is f***ed. Now, try to get a video of any up-and-down play in the pitman shaft. Use a pry to move the arm up and down- you should have zero movement. If you have any, that's proof positive that the top adjustment on the gear is loose. Send the vids to the mfr. and get a replacement. This single vid should be plenty enough for that, though.

I did send it back around a year ago and I was told they in fact had to take some play out with the adjustment, and also "lightened up a valve" to make it easier to steer. Not quite sure what that entails. As of now, it's doing great and I wonder if these trucks were like this fresh off the floor!
