Daaaang that’s cool af. I wonder what frame it’s sitting on.
Yeah, I'd like to know that as well, cause I know these trucks are narrower than any more modern duallies (67-72, squares, 400s etc.). That's why people use Camaro or Nova subframes to convert them to independent front suspension, disc brakes and so forth; truck suspension and steering crossmembers and affiliated parts are too wide.

Can't hardly tell the hoods bent.

Hood fly up?! my brother did it to his Tahoe when he was in highschool bought my current truck looking like it happened to the previous owner then took mine for a test drive a few months ago after working on it and finally happened to me. Made me feel so stupid going down the road with the hood wide open. I was just shaking my head and laughing telling myself welcome to the club

Trucks looking good regardless

No it’s not Escalade cluster has 120 or 130 speedo
I meant the woodgrain trim around the cluster, not the actual cluster. I know most have the 100, and Escalade and Denali have the 120(do Tahoe Limited and Z71 have this too? Haven't seen a complete one to know). And the police Z56 package has the 130.....
Things I've learned from this group!

Saw these two, coming home from schlotzkys with lunch. The RCSB looks like it needs a paint job, but otherwise not bad.

No. Hood didn't fly up. ( Thank goodness) had a fire under the hood, melted the hood release cable, had to pry the hood open to get the fire out. Previous owner had audio cable running to the battery isolator for the winch battery. I added some 8 gauge cables but left the audio wire because of DC voltage drop, something shorted out on the Audio cables after I jumped a skid steer. That was a bad feeling seeing flames and you can't put them out. Lol. Glad the pcm still works. Had to tape up all the wires going to the headlight and horn. Head light relays still work. Was flaming for probably about 10 minutes before I could get the hood open. Could pry it up a little and shoot a fire extinguisher in, but couldn't put it out. Finally got to the release cable. I would have have been sad if the old girl burnt down and I had to watch.

Fire is so distructive on a truck as it takes out all of the wiring etc and burns the paint on the firewall etc that is a real pain to repaint. I have an extinguisher in the cab and a second one in the back. You don't want to almost put it out with one only to have it take of again.
