I think this is it. Size is in the description and GM part number in the right column.

They probably sell some variety of the clips at part stores.

GM Parts diagrams are here:

Awesome. Thanks so much! I think I can track down something from there. Auto parts stores didn't carry any small enough diameter.

What seat position is it? And year of the truck? Maybe rear entry lever?

This might just be the dumbest question of the thread:

‘95. Is the power mirror adjustment switch supposed to be illuminated like the window and lock switches? Yesterday evening was my first “darkness” drive and it suddenly occurred to me what that 8th wire on my switch harness might be for.

I think it’s just a fixed handle to help lift/move the seat forward for rear access.

There's a strip of seat fabric riveted to the passenger side of the rear seat of my 96 2 door Tahoe. About 18" long and 1.5" wide, attached about 4" down from the top of the seat back. My best guess is that it exists to help pull the seat back forward when folding it. The other end has two holes in it like it used to attach somewhere. Anyone have any idea where the loose end is supposed to go?

Attach a picture if you can. It will help everyone out
Attached. The only thing I can find within reach of the thing is the seat belt mount bolt, but for that it feels too long. I feel like I might be missing something that used to be on the end of it.

The power mirror adjuster is illuminated in my 96 and 99, so probably yes.
