Injector flow rate, they must call it something different in the TBIs?
Ahhh - BPC (Base Pulse Constant) Is what's adjusted when changing injectors and/or fuel pressure. Here's what a 61LB/Hr Injector is @17 PSI. Start with it and see if the VE tables look OK.

Ok, My stupid engine question is..
Was there ever an engine option on the 1993 K2500 7.4 where the aluminum valve covers would be embossed with "Towenator"?
I had a suburban with his on the valve covers about 15 years ago. I don't know if it was some aftermarket thing or a stock option.

In order to rate the stupidity of your particular question, I think we require pics.

The late 60s/early 70s chrome factory big block valve covers had a foil sticker on them, that had a Chevy bowtie and the #1 on it, and under that it says "Tonawanda" which is the GM engine plant that many of the early big blocks were built in, in New York. I have a set of those on an engine in my shop building (but it's not where I can get to it easily). Perhaps this is what you're thinking of?
These covers were popular because they clear the factory accessories; the one on the left bank has a back corner that's sloped for firewall/brake booster clearance.

Here's a couple of screenshots that show the valve covers I'm talking about. The second one has those foil stickers as well as the black emblems that go on the Vortec aluminum factory valve covers for the 7.4 engine (454)(the black ones with the silver fins).
Edit: they may have used these in the TBI 7.4 as well; haven't looked at one in a while!

School me on how and where to check fuel pressure on my 92 C2500 5.7 TBI? I don't see a Schrader valve like newer ones have to connect a gauge. This old girl is bone stock and never modified under the hood.
She starts and drives good, but has a surge/miss in the idle only after it's fully warmed up. I only notice it sitting still in park or drive at idle. The idle speed feels about normal but with no tach, it's just an estimate.

That must be it. Thank you for clearing that up

I have a 97 K3500 454. The right side of the engine bay has hook ups for another battery. Typically this is where the chevy storage box is. What is this second battery for and what does it power?

There is a black canister(?) next to this that I am not sure what it is. It has two openings exposed to atmosphere and there is a line below it that a hose is broken. Where does this line go?

ehemm, excuse me.

I took my 98 5.7 to a shop to check the cam rtd. They had no clue. Went back and the mech claimed he had to redline it, tried x3 till it overheated “the computer commands it” anyway they blew it up I swapped motors whatever. My question is why, how, what were they trying to do? What scantool process commanded them to overrev my 5.7?
