The question nowadays is what have you done to improve your rides MPG??

And what worked the best??

Please post your Numbers.

I forgot this site is mainly Pickup Trucks, I am running a 93 Chevy G20 Van.

The most effective way is to put a 2x4 under the gas pedal. Staying out of that gas pedal is the best way to improve mileage.

Set your alignment to 1/16" to 1/8" toe-in so that at speed the drag keeps your wheels aligned.

Keep your tires aired up to their max pressure. Keep in mind that every 10 degrees F in temperature will raise your tire pressure 1 psi. If you air your tires to 45 psi on a 30 degree morning, on a 100 degree day your tire pressure will be at 52 psi.

Get the narrowest tires that will run safely on your rims.

Lower your truck and run the factory under-bumper lip.

Run the sport mirrors instead of the elephant ears.

Either keep the tailgate up, or get a tonneau cover.

I don't have numbers because I'm not obsessive about it.

the 16 better than??
It maybe got 15-16 before - with the air dam - always 16 or better. Another upside is - the engine ran way colder and the fan didn't run as often.
Not significant better - but since I grabbed it from the junkyard for $10 it probably paid for itself within a couple of tanks.

Buy a prius. Post pics when you do (actually, skip that last part...)
I guess I should rephrase that....I want much better than stock MPGs for the cars I want to drive....which is a custom 93 Chevy G20 Van rigged up as a stealth RV, and 03 Ford Explorer that is a great little puddle jumper day tripper that does everything great BUT get good MPG, so I will be adding a Highway Mode and a second overdrive and will be happy with say 25+ MPG.

IF I was really worried about MPG we can always take the wife's 2000 Toyota that can get around 30/35MPG highway.

I've got a 97 5.0 lowered 2/4. I get on average 17.3 and I drive 90 miles a day on the interstate at 70-75mph.

I need to actually get an alignment might get a little better lol.
