Update on my long bed hanger install. I was able to support the tank with a couple of five gallon buckets and remove the straps and un do the filler neck allowing the tank to slide sideways slightly. Just enough room to get my big mitt, washer and nut on! Hangers are now properly installed. On to the rear shackles.

I was thinking chevy lean lol but it meassured even before I did the front hangers...maybe cause I have factory shocks?

The ride isn't bad with factory but since I cut front springs that's where I wanna spend some $$$ a good set of shocks
Shocks don't affect ride height unless they're fully compressed or extended. If they're stock and old they definitely aren't holding anything up.
Don't spend money on drop shocks, get a good stock replacement pair.

Even on a 2/4 drop I should just replace with stock?

Should I run shock extenders

Post the results of that conversation, so I'll know what to order. One of these days.
Revisiting the "why does Belltech say the 722SP kit won't fit my truck" conversation...

I used their website contact form to ask what kit to use on a '93 C3500 regular cab, and why did the 722SP kit say it isn't compatible?

Hello, Thank you for contacting Belltech Suspensions. Unfortunately we do not offer a kit for the standard cab application.

Me:
That's it? I'm trying to spend $1500+ on parts from your company and you can't answer the question? Please pass it to a tech person please to explain to me why

The main difference is going to be the weight and the spring rate. Of course the crew cab and extended cab applications are going to need a stiffer spring versus the standard cab. The kit would physically fit but it will give you a stiff ride and may not lower the vehicle as the kit is advertised to do.

OMG a stiff ride from a static dropped C3500. Holy jeezus.. and I'm really not thinking there's gonna be a big difference in the front springs on a RCLB C3500 and ECLB C3500, but maybe I'm just dumb.

Wow…. so they “factor in” cab weight but don’t offer kits that differentiate between 5.7 vs 6.5 weight?
Isn’t the diesel a couple hundred pounds heavier?

Yeah...you can look up the springs separately and say they're "compatible" but those same springs in the kit and that's somehow the reason the kit isn't compatible? It's baffling.

Same as FancyTBI did, I had looked up all the parts individually and other than a possible listing discrepancy on the shocks, the parts are all "compatible" ...

Thanks for the follow up.
That's crazy, and doubt it'll make that much of a difference. Your 454 will probably help some, I'd imagine.
I've contemplated running a bag up front anyway, but I'll burn that bridge when I get there.
