Booo!!!! :banghead: I forget, and am too lazy to go back through the pages, but if your pulling the bed, you could drill the head off and deal with the rest away from the fuel tank.:weld:
Yeah, I’ve considered that, the drill would be at about a 35° angle as leaf hanger is in way. Then I’d have to remove stud still from bed. You ever try those bolt extractors?

I've used a few with success. If you can get a good bite with them and the bolt isn't seized they work. Set it on with a blow from a hammer before trying to spin the bolt out.

Beds off! Probably power wash frame tomorrow and then clean up a few things before replacing sender/pump.

Check your brake and fuel lines! My brake line broke right near the fuel filler.... rusted there twice.

It's also a good time to do gear oil, if you haven't done is recently.

Maybe check/replace/lube your spare tire hoist, and look over the fuel tank straps/hardware. I completely re-moved the hoist and stabilizing brace since it was so rusty, this last time. I've sprayed phosphoric acid on everything and undercoated it all both times. The first time I used a pro-grade coating, the second I used a homemade wax and oil mixture.

Newish stainless brake lines, differential fluid also fairly recent. Fuel tank is full, but I’m thinking I’ll put Atv jack under tank, then run bolts(one at a time) out of straps and clean up for “next time” , hopefully not for a while. Gotta get it going, but I’m gonna wire wheel as much I can, spray with Klean Strip Metal Prep and then Por-15. Frames in great shape, just surface rust.
