So I am back again. Long story short never got the trans issue resolved. Son with cancer and not much time to work on it. I now really need it to function and money is tighter than ever. I seem to have power all the way to pin e at the trans connector. If the solenoids are controlled by the ecm grounding each solenoid, how do I check the ground from the ecm wiring harness. I believe I have isolated the pin for the ecm ground. Is there just one or is there one for each solenoid. Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Does this 95 have any input from the TPS or range selector. When it does shift it is great! However that is very infrequent. Thanks in advance

Find way to download the service manual, it's not that big. That way you can have the wiring diagrams, ground locations and other trans troubleshooting logic trees.

I do have the diagram, however I truthfully am not good at reading them. I am really looking for sound advice to follow from others who have had the same or similar issues. If someone lines out the path to check things I am good with that. IE: steps to follow in specific sequence. Thanks for any help

It was a new switch. I am going to recheck voltage at fuse block, then under hood fuse then pin E on the trans connector. If aLl have battery voltage with no drop, where should I go next? Thanks for your much appreciated help!!!

Okay, I have power down to the trans harness at pin E. I still have alll four faults indicating electrical issue. How do I go about checking grounds from PCM to trans?

Okay so I need some help. After getting my 99 C 1500 Burban up and running, I now have decided to sell my 1995 K1500 Silverado 5.7l. It still has the same trans electrical issue. I just don't have the time to work on it and I also just became an owner of a 2006 Silverado 5.3L. So something has to go. Any advice on an asking price? It is from the midwest so it has lower cab and rocker issues, but not horrible. Frame is good, Engine is solid. Uses less than a qt between oil changes even at 269K miles. Trans when it does work shifts perfect. No slipping of any kind. (most of the time it is stuck in limp mode) Black and gold Silverado trim level with leather interior. Keyless locks work. Thoughts? Thanks!
