I have a 1998 gmc that I need this peice he is removing for. Does anyone know of a company that sells these? Lmc doesn’t

They're discontinued and as far as I know no one makes an aftermarket replacement. Unfortunately your best bet is probably going to be finding a good one in a salvage yard.

There are a couple websites that might be helpful to your search, car-part.com and row52.com. They index salvage yard inventories across the USA and allow you to search for vehicles in yards close to you. Car-Part is full service yards, Row52 is self service.

That is known as the "high trim" option on these trucks and is the trim found on the higher end trucks. Be sure and read up on how to remove it if you go to a self service yard as these parts are easily broken. Look for non sun faded interiors if you can find one as the trim from a garaged truck is much less brittle.

Correct removal involves starting at the seat belt level and working your way up. This is the reason my high trim set is sitting in my garage rather than installed on the truck! Also be sure and replace the pilar speakers before installing. You only want to do this once! Good luck!
