Hi I'm dripping oil in the driveway on my 350 tbi in my 94 k1500, after the video I checked the valve covers, no dripping. U guys think it's a rear main? I think it may be slinging all over the place to the starter etc

Most probably a rear main, your intake manifold could also be leaking from the valley in the rear, I doubt it's spewing from your distributor but another possibility.

Yeah I'm guessing rear main too, would the intake need to be removed to check that? For the distributor I can just shine a flashlight down and see if it's all wet.

Everyone always goes straight to the worst case... rear main seal. When 99% of the time its something much simpler. Distributor gasket, valve cover gasket, oil pan gasket, intake manifold China wall gasket, a cracked oil drain plug o-ring gasket, doubled up oil filter o-ring. ETC

Will def check all this out!

Already ruled out the double oil filter gasket and the o ring(just changed the oil and it's been leaking before that), aswell as the valve covers which are totally dry.

Will look into the manifold gasket, distributor gasket and pressure sender.

Thanks everyone that piched in!

Also not oil pan gasket, that's all dry aswell, and the oil is too far back to be the pan.

Would replacing a distributor gasket require removing the distributor and having to set my ignition timing again?
