I think a flapper wheel and some rust oleum will take care of these bubbles
Your truck looks really nice! Just be careful of the factory joints with the seam sealer caulking in them. When I did mine, the rust was bad underneath where water was trapped against the sheet metal. I see a couple of worrying spots in this picture along the firewall joint and the grommet for the cab mount.

Your other post looks like you did a good job cleaning it up, but something to look at for the passenger side.

Thanks for that. I did notice the seam sealer is cracked while i was painting. I might dig it out and redo it.

Rust oleum cured nicely…

This dynamat extreme has been kicking around the shop for at least 4 years. Seriously sticky stuff. The NVX (sonic electronix brand) is thicker but not nearly as sticky.

Thermal and sound barrier/absorber is from Second skin. Really nice stuff. I’ve got enough left to put some in the dash. Holes are sealed with butyl rope.

I’ll order a bunch more when I replace the carpet. This should be a nice upgrade though.

More harness madness. Don’t need no stinkin’ rattles.

I’m all over the place today. Got the hvac box reinstalled, insulation in the dashboard and the “easy” half of the dash harness refurbished.

I’ve got to do this on my truck. Added to the list. Good thread and good job thus far.
