So due to an unexpected surprise of baby # 3 being on the way, we have picked up a new family hauler. It is a 2011 Suburban LS with 132k on it. I have a whole folder of maintenance records and a complete vehicle build history, build sheet and component registration on it as well. It is in awesome shape, being an 11yr old Michigan vehicle it is starting to show its age on the body though. it has some paint bubbling on the DS rear wheel arch down by the rocker, by the gas door and the rear hatch. All of which are easily fixable, the frame however has surface rust only. It just had a complete service(oil change, air filter, cabin filter, trans fluid and filter, rear diff). Here is a list of what I will be doing to it:

DOD/AFM delete with BTR Truck Norris Cam
3" Cat Back exhaust(not too loud)
Econ or towing tune
Trans Tune
Lowering the rear
9C1(PPV TAHOE) wheels
PPV style push bar
Front Window tint
Fix what rust there is
New speakers and radio

Outside that, there will not be anything else done.

Yeah so this is still not a build thread for sure, but I am changing some things on it to suit my style.

I got a set of 4 17x7.5 steel wheels for free from FBM and one which was a spare was so rusty that i can not save it, so I need to get another one. But the 3 that had just mild surface rust cleaned up pretty well and were shot with Satin Black paint. I still have to get the tires removed and the new silver center caps.

Oh and I am still torn between leveling out the front(~$50) or getting new rear lowering springs(~$250). I am leaning towards leveling the front now as I do tow with this. So I really don't want to jeopardize the capacity.

Well the wheels I was going to do got sold, I did get a leveling kit for this and some Rancho shocks/struts. I just need to put them on. I am unsure on wheels as my oem's are crap.
