I just got some Amazon housings and used led bulbs in place of incandescent. Don't get the bulbs from Amazon, get something good like superbrightleds.com and they'll be much brighter and last far longer. The chase bar on top is just an Amazon special I rewired to give brake and turn signals.

My 27yr old OEMs bulbs are still good, ( eh, just brakes I can not see them) going to use them for now. I have a hard time replacing stuff that is not broke or failed yet. All Good

Mine were physically broken when I got the truck, it was very strange. One bulb on each side had broken glass.

I get that. For me it was more about doing what I could to ensure they light up as much as possible because there are far too many people around here that “drive” with their phone in their face.

Well on that note. This is Florida of the North ( 0ld people Circa Korean War born). If the Sun is South (1200) and they are on my Six, am Piloting a bearing 180 to town. No lights or horns is going to avoid a collision. ( In my defense) The bulk of my day. Caring for my 85 unt 90 parents. On home brew now. Good Times.
