I've got questions about valance fog lights.

Are the LMC brackets decent? Or should I hold out for a decent original set?

It looks like some of the Olds Bravada fog light parts will interchange. And with a couple holes, the entire Bravada fog light and bracket assemble might work as-is. And the Bravada housing looks like the OBS housing turned upside down. Has anyone messed with these? The harness might also work in our trucks. I've seen similar fogs on late eighties through early nineties Pontiac Grand AMs and mid nineties Grand Prix that I think are the same fog lights used on the OBS trucks.

I have the valance from LMC, the SS454 or sport type lights from jungle site IIRC. I got the pigtails from LMC tho. I'd like to find the factory type for the Z-71/diesel bumper..

Well, I found a pair of NOS fog lights without brackets. So I bought the LMC kit and I'll stick the NOS lights into those brackets. I'll compare them close up before the install.

I’ve read somewhere on this forum that someone felt they were quite a bit thinner than oem one. But unless you get lucky and coke across them, it’s about the only option. That said, lots of people run them based on the photos and posts I see.

I added Factory style Fogs to my truck ... found on ebay... before I knew about LMC ... that already had the lights on the brackets. Had also ordered a replacement valance with tow hook holes. I had to cut out the holes for the fogs, but there were hole guides on the back that made it easy to cut the openings.

Has anyone made any custom fog lights, or found any from another vehicle that fit into the stock valance? I got a free valance from a friend and want to mount some fogs to it but I don't want to pay the LMC price.
Considering fabbing up a design to 3D print

They are $52 for each complete foglight w/mount to fit the factory underbumper mounting... that's not outrageous.

I just paid $95 on eBay for a set of NOS fog lights with brackets.
