I bought a bed ID light from a GMT800. It looks like it's a bolt-on replacement for the triple light on the late GMT400.
We'll find out. My triple light is in pretty rough shape. It looks like most of the parts are still available, but if the single large light fits, I'll be using it.

Turns out that the light I bought was for the wrong year. It was advertised as a 2001-2014 part # 15248604, 84933951, which has the right plug to be a direct swap. Turns out it was a 2015+ part # 22836268, 84933950 with the wrong plug. But, I compared it anyways.

First, the outer two holes on both lights are the same width apart. That will make it easier to bolt up.
The middle two holes on the stock ID light align with two sets of tabs on the new ID light. The holes will have to be enlarged for the tabs to clip in, or you'll have to trim the tabs off and depend on the outer screws only.
And the harness comes out in -almost- the same spot. I'm not sure about the 2001-14 version, but the 2015+ version will need to have the hole slightly clearanced to fit.

Since this wasn't the right light I decided to not install it. I fixed the lenses on the original light and installed it.
I'll try this again with the right 2001-14 light bar.

I pulled off the dinged up center caps and center cap brackets and installed a set of OEM chrome center caps.
I found a set of NOS front caps, one NOS rear and one good condition rear. Added a set of new center cap nut covers and a set of aftermarket external threaded lug nuts to complete the install.

First, I test fit one on the rear before I did them all.

Center cap bracket and nut plate removed. The nuts were a dinky 19mm hex and were heavily worn.

Reinstalled the nut plate and the new lug nuts.

After confirming that the rears fit, I pulled them all off and gave them a cleaning and light polish before finishing the center caps.

Man that setup looks good....

Did you get the right lug nuts for the clamping plate? I saw in another thread where they are 60* seat an not 90* like the 1/2 tons. I may have the angles backwards but anyways the dually use a different lug nut is my point. I didn't know that until I saw that post. I have to see if I can find it again...

Dangit! No, I used standard 60 degree lug nuts because that was the part number I found. Doing more research the DRW trucks need the 90 degree lug nuts. The 90 degree lug nuts are about an 1/8" shorter than the 60degree lug nuts, which will solve an issue I've got with the rear caps not being quite as tight as I'd like.

New lug nuts are ordered.

Sorry man, I'd never heard of it either until I saw it here. Ive got to check all of mine next time I have the wheels off. I'm guessing besides the damage to the nuts it's not a huge issue but I'm sure it makes some kind of difference.

Got the 90 degree lug nuts in and had time to swap them out.

The 90 degree lug nuts are slightly shorter due to the shallow angle of the cone.
This allows the OEM plastic hub cover nuts to pull in tighter, fixing a slight looseness that I had with the rear caps.

You can see how much tighter the 90 degree lug nuts sit.
60 degree on the left, 90 degree on the right
