WHAT DIAMETER are those pushrods?

I've seen BBC that came with 5/16" pushrods. GM must have been insane to do that. Most have 3/8" pushrods, and the high-performance engines used 7/16.

The first couple of years of the Vortec 454 used the smaller pushrods, but those aren't Vortec heads in the picture.

Its a 1989 K3500 that was advertised as having 108k miles. I bought it based on pictures only for $1200. I think I got lied to and they have swapped out the odometer. Win some, lose some.

if the truck is clean then not a horrible deal. Yeah sucks bout the motor, but they are an older motor, so could drop bout anything in there. I had the same truck, motor was from the 70s IIRC..
