I'm Awesome
Got it put together and it ran marginally better, but still misfiring and fouling 3 & 5.
Been screwing with it for a couple days and ultimately decided to go back to the last part I replaced, which was the cap & rotor. I got them from AutoZone, and got the Duralast Gold with the lifetime warranty. I assume if they warranty it for life, it's probably better quality than the one with the 1 year warranty.
Anyway, I grabbed a used cap from Pick-n-Pull today, threw it on just to see what would happen, and the truck runs perfect. Moral of the story...just because something is new doesn't mean it can't be defective.
Went and swapped the cap. Hopefully this one is good. I appreciate all the input.
